With well over 24million Volkswagen Golf cars on roads, drive ways, and in car parks all over the world, the Golf was the best selling car ever to be made by Volkswagen, including the Beetle. 

The purpose of this site, and all of its pages, is to show you, how the hot hatch we all love, came about, and how it became as popular as it is today. You will also find out about some variations of the golf, that you might not even know existed, as I didn't until I started my research.
